In January 2006, the Nordson Corporation announced a 5 year date for the Series 2300 obsolescence. It's been a great run!!!! All equipment should last this long. After over 25 years, Nordson will stop producing critical service parts for all Series 2300 melters on April 29, 2011. That is where Astro Packaging comes in.
