Multi-Zone Controller - The T1000 Temperature Controller is a microprocessor-based controller designed to regulate up to 13 temperature zones of a hotmelt applicator system.
Integrated into the hotmelt unit control panel, the T1000 controls and monitors adhesive temperature in the tank, and up to six heated supply hoses and six adhesive applicators. The T1000 is user friendly. All temperature control settings and other functions are executed with convenient toggle switches. The T1000 controls temperature with input from RTD sensors located in each heated zone. The standard T1000 version includes selectable Run-Ready temperature set points, High and Low limits, and Standby settings for the tank and each hose and head. A Run-Ready Output and Pump Lock Out feature prevents the melt unit pump from turning on until all zones reach Run-Ready temperature. The T1000 offers auto-tuned proportional control of each temperature set point. It learns the most efficient way to attain the desired temperature and maintain it accurately. A Run-Ready light indicates all zones are at proper operating temperatures. A visual alarm indicator illuminates when the temperature of any zone exceeds the high or drops below the low limit. An integral seven day clock automatically completes up to ten Run, Standby or Off mode changes per day. Auxiliary capabilities may be added to the standard T1000 including: Pump Lock Out, Audible Alarm, Automatic Power Shut-Off, Automatic Run to Standby; plus support for Remote Run.Standby Switch and Indicator. Features:
- Monitors and controls up to 13 zones
- Selectable temperature standby setting for each zone reduces adhesive char and degradation
- Manual or automatic clock control of Run/Standby/Off mode changes
- Fahrenheit and Celsius scales
- High and low temperature limits for each zone
- Run-Ready light indicates the system is up to operating temperature
- Sequential zone heating mode
- Scan Display setting shows actual temperature of each zone at two second intervals
- Optically isolated solid state relays for electrical noise immunity
- Self-tuning proportional control for each temperature zone
- Self-tests with alarm and indication of RTD sensor or heater faults
- Program and configuration locks

OPTIONAL AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS
Audible Alarm An Alarm sounds and the alarm indicator LED illuminates if any alarm condition is detected. Relay contacts are available for customer connection to a customer supplied device. Auto Shut-Off Power is removed from hotmelt system if an alarm condition is not corrected in 1.5 or 5 minutes after an uncorrected alarm condition exists. Auto Standby After a programmed period of applicator inactivity, the melt unit automatically changes from Run/Standby mode. Remote Standby/Run Switch Contact points allow remote location switching of Standby/Run mode Remote Standby/Run Indicator Contact points allow remote location indicator light of Run/Standby mode.
